Craftsman style Multi-use Tip Adaptors
Craftsman is one of the oldest names in oxy-fuel cutting torches. It is the same brand as Sears Craftsman, except from many years ago. For a while they made their own torches, then they had Rego, then Harris making them. Regardless of the maker, there are still a lot of people out there using their torches. New style Craftsman torches with the flat seated tip use Harris 6290, an easy fix. Cutting tips for the old style Craftsman torches can be very difficult to find. We have a short supply of the original Rego tips in select sizes, call for more information. For those of you who are still using the old Craftsman, ATL Welding Supply recommends the Craftsman style Multi-Use Adaptor System.
Craftsman style multi-use tip adaptors require a new tip nut due to the increased diameter of the tip adaptor. With the adaptor system, you can cut, weld & heat with acetylene or cut & heat with LP, propane or natural gas. Be sure to compare the photos to the current tip you are using before ordering. |
