Rego Style Cutting Tips

Rego style cutting tips are replacement tips for Rego oxy-fuel cutting torches. We stock one-piece tips for LP, propane and natural gas, including the 243 series (sizes 25, 30, 35 and 68), the 343 series (sizes 35, 46, 68 and 72) and KX205-68 and KX205-72 tips, plus the KX105-46. For propylene, choose the KXM105-18, R-FS-38, R-FS-52, RFS-60 or RPH-00.

Choosing the right Rego style tip

Start with your fuel gas, because propane and propylene tips are not interchangeable with acetylene tips. Then match the series to your torch and the size to your material thickness. Higher size numbers cut thicker steel and use more oxygen. Replace a tip when its preheat holes are worn, clogged or out of round, since a worn tip gives a wider kerf, more slag and wasted gas.
